Unstoppable 16 Expansion Through Persecution
Sometimes the Lord uses persecution to stir the church out of its cozy nest and help it to fulfill the Great Commission. Persecution cannot stop the church; it expanded it. We meet three personalities in this chapter: Saul, a persecutor; Philip, a preacher; and Simon, a paper chaser.
Tears In A Bottle
David envisions God having a bottle in which He stores up David's tears. David expresses deep trust that none of his sorrows or prayers escape God's notice. The metaphor is clear: God remembers every tear shed by His people.
Zechariah Part 12
Zechariah prophesies the coming Messiah, "the branch", who will unite priestly and kingly roles, building the Lord's temple and ruling with majesty, symbolized by a crown made from exilic offerings.
Zechariah Part 11
This brings us to the vision of the flying horses and chariots. If it all seemed surprising until now, this final vision that Zechariah saw shows us how it all will end.
